CROSS DRESSERS WIVES MARCH’S NEWSLETTER

TOPIC: DIVORCE: THE BEST REVENGE IS LIVING WELL & BEING HAPPY
DEE’S CORNER….
Chances are high, you tried EVERYTHING to get him to stop cross dressing and despite your efforts- nothing worked. From the moment you discovered you married a cross dresser-unknowingly- you have NEVER wanted anything to do with your husband’s physical feminine side. However, he purged so many times-you pulled “HER STUFF” out of the garbage because you could not afford to have him/her replace everything. So, you decided there is no other way: Divorce.
Divorce – by most standards is a dreadful process-but add cross dressing and it can get very nasty.
But do you have to be nasty? Follow him? Out Him? Trash him? Stalk him?  Harass him? Go to his job? Tell his parents?
All of this aforementioned have been done to some cross dressers. Though I know the anger and rage -but this type of behaviors do not serve you.  However-if you are under attack by him- THAT IS A DIFFERENT STORY- but you still have to strive to thrive-without him.
If you are seeking revenge- The Best Revenge is …living well and being happy!
Warmly,
Dee A Levy, MA

February’s Cross Dressers Wives Newsletter 2014

Topic: Love & Valentines…

Dee’s Corner…

What’s love got to do with it? Many believe LOVE can conquer all. Others, like many cross dresser’s wives aren’t so sure.  Just because they love their husbands - that does not mean they are happy.  Should they stay- no matter what? - Even though they feel like they are walking on eggshells everyday? If they love each other and are happy - despite the extra challenges of being married to a cross dresser - then all is well. However is love enough for the rest of us?

What is love? The denotation of love is…1love noun \ˈləv\
:  a feeling of strong or constant affection for a person
:  attraction that includes sexual desire:  the strong affection felt by people who have a romantic relationship
:  a person you love in a romantic way

The connotation of love is a mixture of wonderment, kindness, angelic, compassion
and the list is endless.

Love is many things. One thing is for sure and we ALL know this to be true - It should not hurt.

Of course, all marriages/partnerships etc. have challenges - but NOTHING like what most cross dresses wives experience.

May you love yourself enough to take good care of yourself. Too many of us, taking care of ourselves is finding love in our marriages/partners. And if you cannot find love in your marriage, many you find other ways of bringing love into your lives. It all boils down to a personal choice and Cupid too (maybe).

What’s Love got to do with it? EVERYTHING. Happy Valentine’s Day To All Of You!

Xoxo,
Dee A Levy

CROSS DRESSER’S WIVES JANUARY NEWLETTTER 2014

HAPPY NEW YEAR!   TOPIC: SELF CARE FIRST
Dee’s Corner….
Happy, Healthy New Year to Everyone! A new year always brings new hope, a fresh start, yet it can also bring new challenges. As a CDW or Ex CD wives – this can cause us to undergo too much stress-, which we now know, can hurt us in a multitude of ways. What is the answer? Self Care.

We all know that you are always instructed to put the oxygen mask on yourself first on a plane- then on your children etc. This is so you will have the ability to take care of them-but not until you take care of yourself first. This is neither selfishness nor narcissism. There is a huge difference. If you cannot take good care of yourself- how can you take care of your family?

One of my favorite books that I often resort to when I am not feeling well is Louise Hay’s, You Can Heal Your Life A-Z. It derives from Eastern thinking and it makes so much sense. For example, if you have a bladder infection- Hay would claim it is due to being pissed off and holding in the anger. How do you resolve this? -With positive affirmations…
How do you take care of yourself? Make a list of all of the ways you take care of YOU. Are you paying enough attention to your body? Are you going to the doctors? Dentist? How are you caring for your body, mind, heart & soul? It could be as simple as, getting your hair done, taking a manicure, a pedicure, taking some special "time off' doing things one enjoys doing or, on a grander scale spending a day or two or more,
for example, at a spa- with your best girl friend.

What do you need to pay more attention too? Listen to your body- it will tell you what you need, if you take the time and be still…the answers are within-if you take the time to listen…and take action.

Warmly Wishing You A GREAT 2014!
Dee

Warmly,

SHOUT OUT OF GRATITUDE…

Please know that our non-profit website has the most generous people behind it.  Thank you Tim, our CD family advisor- who has VOLUNTEERED hundreds of hours to this Forum.
Also- a shout out to our fabulous and most generous website designer & manager. Her name is Yolanda and we could not run this site without her skills. She is 100% behind us! Thank you Yolanda for all of your help for so many years now!

The Board of Directors have been working behind the scenes to enhance this nonprofit-thank you Kathleen and Rob!

Thank you Dorothy Hayden for providing us with another resource!

A Giant shout out to Dr. Docter, who worked with me for 27 months to construct a phenomenal study on cross dressers wives. It was an honor and a pleasure to work with Docter and we are going to do another study-with your help of course! Thank you Bambi, who posted all the time to get CDW to answer the questionnaire! Your responses made it happen. Much more to come about what happened to our study…

Shout Out to many cross dressers who courageously contacted me to find ways to tell their wives about their big life long secret. They taught me so much and I thank them for their trust in me.

THE BIGGEST SHOUT OUT GOES TO ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE SUPPORTED THIS NON PROFIT! If it were not for your courage to post we would be isolated, feeling like no one could ever imagine what our lives are like as cross dressers wives. We are not alone-thank you all for your contributions!

With love & gratitude,
