A CDW’s Opinion… I do think it important, that CDW's hear of behind-the-scenes protective actions, which are being planned and advocated. For every 1 post advocating this, I can assure you there are 10,000 silent men incorporating it into their strategy. Women, by socialization, are vulnerable to the competitive strategies, which most men employ in their everyday decision-making. Strategies, which are developed with the sole and constant intent for men to win, to "get their way". Men practice this in a number of harmless ways - softball leagues, drinking games, football dream teams, fast cars, large SUVs, pounds and repetitions in the weight room. It never ends. That relentless practice spills over into their interpersonal relationships, without conscious thought, but with all the fire, conviction and desperation of passionate ownership. My Wife, My Marriage, My Life - MY WAY! Women don't build defenses to limit losses. Women don't craft highly nuanced, multi-layered strategic actions designed to beat down opponents. Women give, and they give and give and give and give, until they are all give out. Women don't take care of themselves, and by association, those in their care. I hope to see the participants on the CDW Forum develop better defenses and, when it proves necessary, more successful offenses. Best,Alice

Questionnaire II UPDATE Over the past year nearly 300 wives of cross dressers have completed this survey, making it the largest group ever to participate in a wives study of this kind. Thanks to each of you! If you have not responded to Questionnaire II please do so, and be sure to respond to all of the questions. We are starting to analyze the survey data and the results will be made available on this web site. Additionally, a more formal report will be submitted to one of the scientific journals concerned with transgender studies, such as the International Journal of Transgenderism or the Archives of Sexual Behavior. The main focus of additional research will involve asking wives in more detail about how they are coping with cross dressing. Of course, we'll be inviting each of you to join us in these on-going research projects.
