Topic: for the month: A Time to Support Each Other
n these days and times, there is so much uncertainty, animosity towards others, too many wars, gun violence, war on women, terrorists threats, school bombings-one thing is for sure- our worlds have changed.
Knowing this, I would hope that every one of us could lend a kind word to one another. Yes, we are all cross dressers wives or ex CDW-and that is what binds us. However, there is a wide spectrum of differences in our experiences, our husbands all cross dress but they are all unique. Yes, of course most of our experiences as cross dressers wives have NOT been pleasant. NO one likes to be lied to and betrayed for years-decades etc. And yes, some women are bitter. Does that help them? No. Some need time to process what has happened to their lives…and others need counseling to get through the rage and of course-some of us never get passed the betrayal and end up divorced.
Yes, we are all entitled to our opinions and all of our emotions are valid and should be respected. We need to be careful not to judge CDW too harshly. It is not our place. The Forum is an opportunity where we can use it to really help others by meeting their needs. It is difficult to tell a new girlfriend or fiancé of a CD what our experiences have been and we should not sugar coat it. I so wish I had known before I married Mr. Wonderful and could have had the opportunity to learn about it from a cross dressers wife…who knows what I would have done?
One thing is for sure-even the cross dressers wives who seem so accepting of it would not be posting on our Forum if there were not ‘issues’ with cross dressing in their marriages.
Please be kind to each other…the world is changing …we need each other.

Questionnaire II UPDATE
Over the past year nearly 300 wives of cross dressers have completed this survey, making it the largest group ever to participate in a wives study of this kind. Thanks to each of you! If you have not responded to Questionnaire II please do so, and be sure to respond to all of the questions.
We are starting to analyze the survey data and the results will be made available on this web site. Additionally, a more formal report will be submitted to one of the scientific journals concerned with transgender studies, such as the International Journal of Transgenderism or the Archives of Sexual Behavior.
The main focus of additional research will involve asking wives in more detail about how they are coping with cross dressing. Of course, we'll be inviting each of you to join us in these on-going research projects.
